The Summer "Verbena"
for Kaisin
For Kaisin’s summer staff celebration, I turned the terrace of one of their Zurich locations into a Spanish verbena—a relaxed village‑festival vibe made for mingling.
Setup: easy‑going décor with paper‑covered tables, candles, and splashes of color—jars of paint and brushes to spark creativity and play. Spanish music set the rhythm as the sun went down.
Food: multiple stations with classics like tortilla de patatas, gazpacho shots, gildas, and cured meats, plus a giant paella cooked live as the evening’s centerpiece.
The result was a warm, communal summer night for 60+ people, full of flavor, music, and team spirit—simple, joyful, and very Spain.
